What You’ll DoWhat You’ll Bring
- Daily truck and trailer inspection
- Vehicle cleaning including wash and minor detailing
- Obtaining scale weights and refueling
- Capable of performing material handling practices within the warehouse environment in between loads
- Miscellaneous jobs as required
- Valid Driver’s License with Class A CDL and current DOT Physical Examination medical card
- TSA driver hazardous materials endorsement required and 48' - 53' tractor trailer hauling experience preferred
- Great work ethic & team player - level headed, detail oriented, safety contentious, courteous, flexible, punctual, professional, and customer focused
- Accurately maintain daily driver log-book, pre-check, and post-check of truck. Ability to maintain a clean driving record with a high level of safety awareness on the roadways
- Ability to lift and move heavy boxes (up to 60 pounds) and manually pallet jack heavy material on/off trucks. Forklift Certification training a plus; will be required to operate on occasion
- Knowledge of local major and minor roadways and adherence to federal motor carrier safety regulations / DOT guidelines
- Good communication skills (written and verbal) and the ability to follow instructions
