Job Description

This role blends exceptional customer focus, strategic thinking, operational execution, and an in-depth understanding of Philips products and services. You will ideally be based in either Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane, you will be proactive, adaptable and focused on delivering client success across the Precision Diagnosis portfolios.

Your role includes

  • Assist the existing account management team in strengthening relationships with key stakeholders through direct coaching and driving educational activities ensuring local teams maintain regular client discussions.

  • Build and manage a business plan for each targeted growth opportunity (Geographical segmentation or Order Intake based) including proactive communication and addressing areas of concern.

  • Develop and maintain a relationship map of key decision-makers and strategize to secure their support.

  • Lead measurement of execution success for selected ‘must win’ opportunities, coordinating with internal stakeholders and external customers as needed.

  • Contribute to the development and execution of Strategic Account Plans, working closely with the Head of Strategic Accounts.

  • Analyse, implement, and measure initiatives to drive growth and retention of the install base.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to customize solutions that address client challenges and opportunities.

  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify and act on potential growth opportunities.

  • Use Philips tools to understand customer needs and design tailored solutions, developing compelling value propositions.

  • Collaborate with marketing to qualify opportunities and validate account strategies, and leverage internal Account Based Selling opportunities.

  • Work with the state-based teams to support their ability to address and resolve client issues in a timely manner to ensure a positive client experience.

  • Coordinate efforts across business functions to achieve high-quality outcomes.

  • Assist with national customer proposals, tenders and maintenance of strategic account pricing.

  • Drive strategies to build value through demonstrations, trials, and showcase sites.

  • Working closely with internal teams to ensure client needs are met and exceeded.

  • Building a strong internal network to support customer value delivery and present a coordinated Philips approach.

You’re the right fit if:

  • Proven experience in account management or a similar customer-facing role, preferably in a B2B environment within Healthcare specialising in Capital Equipment.

  • Experience managing strategic or high-value accounts is highly desirable, as is a previous experience within Radiology.

  • Superior customer centric approach / skills with outstanding relationship building and communication skills with both internal and external stakeholders.

  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities, with a proactive and results-driven approach.

  • Understanding of account management principles, client relationship management, and relevant industry practices.

  • Proficiency in Salesforce.com and other relevant business tools.

  • A willingness to travel across ANZ when required.
