As a Lead Project Engineer in our HBT team youwill be responsible for the technical success of assigned projects includingthe Footscray Hospital. This requires defining the detailedscope requirements, through co-ordination with internal and external projectstakeholders and developing and documenting the design. Validating this withthe project stakeholders and co-ordinating work packages for local and remoteproject team members.
KeyResponsibilities:

• Responsible for the overall execution of the systems design, engineering, implementation, commissioning and documentation of a project
• Co-ordinate the commissioning team during the commissioning phase of the project and supervise the on-site commissioning
• Provide technical support to Honeywell field technicians and engineers as well as project stakeholders
• Review incoming project documentation for impact to the project scope and works schedule and respond to these in co-ordination with the project manager
• Prepare design submittals and documentation as per stakeholder requirements, ensuring commitment dates are met. Work with the project stakeholders to ensure timely submittal approvals are received
• Develop site-specific documentation including engineering, O&M, testing and commissioning manuals and procedures

KeyExperience & Capabilities:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics or equivalent industry experience
• 7+ year’s experience in applicable projects with extensive on-site knowledge and understanding of design requirements
• Previous experience working with highly complex electronic security/building management systems
• Knowledge of networking, database technology and trends in IT would be highly advantageous
• Proven track record in a project engineering capacity involved in the delivery of technology-based projects
