- Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience with any of cloud solutions: SQL database administration, Google App Engine, Cloud networking solutions, or distributed computing technology.
- Experience in reading or debugging code: Java, C, C++, Python, Shell or Ruby.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience implementing, administering, and troubleshooting network infrastructure devices.
- Experience using techniques like packet capture/analysis, artificial packet creation, load testing, traffic path analysis to troubleshoot network latency, packet loss, and other performance issues.
- Knowledge of Linux/Unix or Windows.
- Knowledge of basic web technologies (e.g., HTTP, HTML, DNS, TCP, etc.).
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals (e.g., TCP/IP, Routing, VPNs, VLANs, Load Balancing, etc.).
