3+ years of experience directly supporting networked IT hardware infrastructure and working in a data center or equivalent environment.
Ability to safely work at heights using step ladders, podium platforms, and people lifts, adhering to all safety protocols.
Ability to safely use hand-held tools such as electric drills, safety cutters, fiber testing kits, etc.
Ability to work extended shifts within a data center environment, withstanding heat levels ranging from 79°F to upwards of 105°F while maintaining appropriate hydration.
Able to support on-call duties, providing after-hours support in a 24/7 operational environment as needed.
Previous leadership experience leading teams, projects, or functions in support of IT or data center operations.
Knowledge and experience using computer operating systems, understanding of network protocols and concepts, and running diagnostics & firmware updates to resolve IT infrastructure issues.
Solid ability to lead and supervise data center technicians and functions.
Experience providing focused to expert level functional knowledge and hands-on support of mission critical environments and data center operations,
Experience working with management/leadership teams to ensure proper staffing levels, budgets, tools, and materials.
Experience reviewing and recommending improvement of established procedures and standards.
Knowledge and experience using workflow systems, collaboration, email, and scheduling tools.
