With us, you will innovate and deliver core data plane software required to support EC2 Networking organization. This is a hands-on position that requires broad engineering competence and in-depth technical knowledge of data plane software development, DevOps roles, continuous integration, infrastructure tools and distributed systems, as well as demonstrated experience in planning, organizing, refactoring, and conducting software development projects in a dynamic environment.With us, you will innovate and deliver core data plane software required to support EC2 Networking organization. This is a hands-on position that requires broad engineering competence and in-depth technical knowledge of data plane software development, DevOps roles, continuous integration, infrastructure tools and distributed systems, as well as demonstrated experience in planning, organizing, refactoring, and conducting software development projects in a dynamic environment.

- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language

- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
- Working knowledge of networking protocols like TCP/IP, UDP
- Some experience working on lower level of the software stack that directly interacts with hardware using programming languages such as C, C++, Rust, Java, Python is preferred.
