Develop and enhance test equipment and software in bothindividual and team settings
Demonstrate proficiency in scripting in Python, Golang,or another high-level programming language (C, C++, C#, Java, etc.)
Possess a good understanding of SQL databases and queriesto efficiently manage and analyze test data
Collaborate with the production team to understand theproduction constraints related to testing
Work closely with design teams to define optimized testspecifications that balance yield and quality
Assist in the mechanical and electrical design of thetest equipment itself, with a focus on HV power electronics and battery systems
Support debug and validation efforts to ensure thesustained performance of the equipment
Take responsibility for fully documenting all aspects ofthe projects you work on, ensuring clear and comprehensive documentation
What You’ll Bring
Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Software Engineering, or equivalent experience
5 years of relevant industry experience in test equipmentdevelopment and optimization
Familiarity with LabView is beneficial but not asprevalent as Python and Golang in current projects
Solid understanding of communication protocols such asCAN, Modbus, and RS232
Experience with HV power electronics and battery systemsis highly desirable
Experience in designing electrical hardware and software,with a particular emphasis on operator and product safety
Solid understanding of production equipment designissues, including user-friendliness, serviceability, ruggedness, andnoninvasive electrical test connections
Ability to work well under pressure, managing competingdemands and tight deadlines effectively
