Description
- Oversee development of comprehensive feature test plans.- Partner with engineering managers to ensure features are crafted for testability.- Identify and drive investments in tests, tooling, and automation required to scale the team’s efforts to handle a growing project portfolio.
Minimum Qualifications
- 10+ Years in the field of SDET or QE
- 5+ years of leadership and management experience in QA.
- Ability to build, drive and support automation test strategy.
- Consistent record of independently balancing multiple projects and workflows.
- Collaboration, communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Experience hiring automation and quality engineers and leading a team through significant growth
- Proficient in the programming language Java
- Good knowledge on test automation tools preferably Selenium
- Good knowledge on test automation for RESTful API Services and Performance testing
- Excellent knowledge and experience with test methodologies (Integration testing, Performance testing, Functional testing, etc).
- Experience with CI/CD Technologies, preferably Jenkins
- Experience working in Unix/Linux environments
- Highly organised, creative, motivated, and passionate about achieving results.
- Creative thinker and strong problem solver with meticulous attention to detail.
- An enthusiasm for user-focused design & high-quality products.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to facilitate close interaction with development teams, management, and other teams within Apple
Preferred Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience or higher
- 3-5 years of prior leadership and management experience in QA
