What You’ll Do:Creative Leadership and Brand Strategy
- Develop and execute Vimeo's global brand strategy across all channels that aligns with our overall business objectives and drives brand awareness, preference and loyalty across all of our audiences.
- Deliver world-class creative projects and campaigns that resonate with our diverse audiences, including video professionals, marketers, filmmakers, SMBs, and large enterprises.
- Create Vimeo’s B2B brand presence utilizing a consumer brand aesthetic and level of
- polish.
- Deliver excellent video content for social, web, paid media and live platforms, while leading strategic video production initiatives that position Vimeo as a thought leader through our forward-looking, "video first" approach.
- Take ownership of outcomes, ensuring the delivery of high-quality work, meeting deadlines, and adapting to ever-changing priorities.
- Collaborate closely with the CMO, marketing team members, product design leaders, and executive stakeholders to align brand initiatives with broader business objectives.
Team Management and Development:
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a multidisciplinary team, including design, video production, web, and brand professionals.
- Foster a culture of creativity, collaboration, and accountability.
Vendor and Stakeholder Management:
- Manage external vendors and agency partnerships to ensure alignment with Vimeo’s goals and standards, while effectively managing budgets to optimize resource allocation and project execution.
Performance and Impact:
- Establish metrics to evaluate the success of brand and interactive initiatives.
- Drive impactful creative solutions that deliver measurable business outcomes.
Who You Are:
- 15+ years of experience in brand and marketing leadership roles, preferably in the B2B SaaS space.
- A strategic mindset with the ability to translate business goals into creative solutions that drive measurable results with a passion for video as a medium for innovation and storytelling.
- A love of brand!
- Deep technical understanding of and proficiency with creative tools
- Knowledge of the generative AI video space
- Technical understanding of all creative projects with direct knowledge of video projects and all facets of video production.
- Proven track record of working with notable B2B and B2C brands, showcasing a deep understanding of diverse audiences, emerging trends, and global/international relevance.
- Experience leading teams across design, video production, web strategy, and brand development.
- Exceptional leadership skills with experiencing managing and inspiring cross-functional teams and collaborating with senior leadership and collaborating with senior leadership.
- Familiarity with agency environments and experience working with media brands is desirable, but the ideal candidate has substantial in-house experience.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
- The ability and desire to be on stage and represent the company from a creative POV as we re-launch into thought leadership around consumer video, monetization, B2B and AI topics related to video. Be an articulate Vimeo brand zealot!
- Demonstrable portfolio of work you’re proud of.
- Ability to work in the Vimeo NYC office frequently and travel to industry conferences, customer and partner meetings, etc. as needed.
Base Salary Range:
- NYC Metro: $223,000.00 - $306,500.00
- All other US cities outside above metro areas: $200,700.00 - $275,850.00
