Your tasks
- Join the growing Life Sciences business unit in Germany as the overall schedule lead, tasked with growing, leading and mentoring the schedule function of this team.
- Be the single point of contact for the planning and scheduling functions of the Life Sciences Business unit in Germany, technically reporting into the European Director for Planning and Scheduling.
- Assist in day to day operational and business development activities.
- Schedule lead for a large Pharmaceutical brownfield campus project in the Frankfurt region, also responsible for building a team to support the execution of this project.
Das bringst Du mit
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, project management or related technical field or equivalent qualification
- At least 10 years of experience in project planning with Primavera P6
- Proven track record of building and leading a planning and scheduling team.
- Experienced in planning of programmes & good knowledge of benchmarks.
- Understand EPC/full service and JV/consortium project delivery processes for a range of industries.
- Good understanding of Earned Value methodologies, both for engineering and construction
- Apply standard project principles to planning/scheduling work processes
- Proficiency with spreadsheets, word processing software, and report generation systems
- Thorough understanding of planning/scheduling systems to support project-specific execution requirements, including calculations performed by the software
- Implementation and effective use of proprietary project control systems and industry standard planning and scheduling systems (esp. Primavera P6)
- German language skills necessary
- Good written and spoken English
- Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, MS-Project)
- Knowledge of Oracle Primavera Risk Anaysis, Acumen Fuse an advantage
- Ability to develop and maintain a positive working atmosphere
