Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:
- As Manager Category Manager Training Women APP & aSMC you will drive the respective category business Net Sales in Emerging Markets
- You will be the EM expert for the Women Training category as well as for the adidas pinnacle Women Collaboration aSMC, understanding consumer trends, distribution opportunities and competitor strategies.
- To succeed you will collaborate with EM cluster/country organizations and Channel teams to identify and address business opportunities in the market and deliver against those by collaborating with the Global Business Unit throughout the seasonal Go-to-Market process.
- You will be the point of contact for Women Training & aSMC in EM not only for pre-season planning but also for in season tracking, monitoring, and actioning.
- Together with the Senior Manager Training & the BU Head you will develop seasonal, fiscal, and long-term strategic plans to grow profitable market-share for Women training APP & aSMC.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive the category management for Women Training & aSMC across all KPIs, with the objective to grow the business across EM Countries & Channels.
- Execute the seasonal Go-To-Market process and calendar milestones for your respective category in Emerging Markets.
- Define an effective Emerging Markets Category Range that allows Clusters to maximize their opportunities.
- Build a Category “Common Range” as the foundation of your EM Range that ensures a consistent Brand Footprint with a focus on adidas own channels without compromising on any commercial opportunities.
- Ensure all your BU ranging activities in RMA and M-3 follow the Mops Milestones and timelines.
- Drive decision making through data analytics & category tracking paired with consumer trends and market opportunities.
- Facilitate efficient communication with respective Cluster and Channel stakeholders, to enable executional excellence as well as driving upwards communication to Global stakeholders.
- Drive Women Training with a specific focus on growing Key Items as leggings and Bra’s across channels and work with Channel stakeholders to ensure an elevated consumer experience.
- Elevate the adidas Women business by growing the aSMC category with a specific focus on adidas own channels Retail & e-com and be a leading driver for the adidas Women business.
- Work closely with Brand Activation, Omnichannel & Membership teams to ensure executional excellence of Category activations & Key Moments to drive Full Price Sell-through
- Review Seasonal Volumes across the Business segments and action against.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Passion for Sport, Fitness & Fashion

- Strong analytical skills structured and process oriented.
- Ability to communicate with Senior Leadership in Global & Local teams.
- Experience in Category Management, Merchandising, Consumer Experience is a plus.
- Ability to lead stakeholders x-functionally.
Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
- University Degree in Business or Marketing
- Category Management/ Ranging/ Merchandising- or Account Marketing / Sales Experience
- Advanced user of Excel and PowerPoint
- Fluent in English (verbal and written)
