Here are the key responsibilities for a Software Development Engineer II in this role:- Innovate and Develop Voice Features: Drive the development of new, voice-powered features. You will build solutions that revolutionize how customers interact with Amazon Music, focusing on personalized recommendations and seamless track sequencing.- Design and Implement Algorithms: You will design and implement the content selection and ranking algorithms that power intelligent voice recommendations. This includes leveraging machine learning models to deliver highly personalized music experiences across all of Amazon Music's service tiers (Unlimited, Prime, and Free).- Own the Full Lifecycle: Partner with product managers to brainstorm, experiment, and launch innovative voice experiences. You'll take ownership of features from the initial concept through to launch, seeing your work directly impact customer engagement.

- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language

- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
