- Develop and maintain satellite processing software test procedures
- Develop and maintain code pipeline infrastructure
- Test satellite code ahead of release using hardware in the loop and other test assets
- Support manufacturing engineers by defining and executing test requirements
- Develop automated testing systems to increase satellite manufacturing processes- Operations will occur primarily on first shift, Monday-Friday but off-shift and weekend work may be required depending on testing/production/launch schedules
- This position is based in Merritt Island, FL but does required travel, up to 25% annually, either domestically or internationallyA day in the life

- Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, electrical engineering or comparable degree
- 3+ years of coding experience with a scripting language such as Python, C#, TypeScript, or similar
- Experience with AWS services and cloud development
- Proficiency of version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines
- Experience in developing functional specifications, design verification plans and functional tests
- Ability to obtain and maintain a US Passport
- Ability and willingness to comply with the Government of French Guiana which mandates that travelers receive vaccinations for yellow fever and COVID-19
- Ability to pass Kennedy Space Center background checks

- Software testing experience with hardware in the loop
- AWS API development
- Experience with developing software for safety critical applications
- Experience with managing project tasks and schedule
- Experience with automating subsystem, and system level manufacturing processes
- Experience working with interdisciplinary teams
- Strong organizational, analytical, root cause analysis and problem-solving skills
- Able to climb up and down ladders, work in tight spaces, bending, grasping, sitting, pulling, pushing, stooping, and stretching may be required to perform the functions of this position
- Able to lift at least 25 lbs. unassisted
