Financial Services Offices Assurance - Blockchain Engineer (Manager) (Multiple Positions) (1538334), Ernst & Young U.S. LLP, Seattle, WA.

Integrate emerging technologies to enhance audit service delivery quality and solve business/client challenges through technology. Build user-centered applications, combining business knowledge with technology experience to build automation and analytic solutions with a focus on the financial services industry. Perform full life-cycle software development using agile framework including delivery and integration with other systems and applications in a cloud-based environment. Create software development strategy and establish leading practice approaches based on industry trends, benchmarks and new developments. Oversee and direct the build of complex software products or systems. Drive various stages of the development lifecycle, ensuring application/software architecture is aligned to stakeholder requirements. Create and/or modify application delivery process strategy based on industry trends, experience, leading practices and direction of major players. Establish strategy and business case for the integration of multiple applications. Lead the design of complex integration strategies and plans and the evaluation of complex system integration initiatives and advises on any necessary course corrections. Develop and maintain long-term business relationships and networks.

Full time employment, Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week, 8:30 am – 5:30 pm.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems Management, Accounting, Finance or a related field, plus 5 years of post-bachelor’s progressive related work experience; OR Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems Management, Accounting, Finance or a related field, plus 3 years of related work experience.Must have 3 years of experience in engagement management, engagement reporting and client relationship building.Must have 3 years of experience in blockchain related assurance, risk management, security, IT and application controls.Must have 3 years of experience in blockchain programming languages, such as Solidity, Vyper, or Daml.Must have 3 years of experience performing digital asset risk assessments and developing/implementing practical blockchain based technology solutions within a professional services environment.Must have 3 years of experience with: Enterprise integration design patterns, microservices design and development, and middleware platforms, such as integrations, or application programming interface (API).Must have 3 years of experience designing API centric solutions using at least one of the following: representational state transfer (REST), DevOps, Postman, or SoapUI.Must have 3 years of experience developing schemas and data structures.Must have 3 years of experience in the entire software development lifecycle (SDLC) of blockchain projects, including analysis, planning design, development, testing, and deployment.Must have 3 years of experience converting business requirements into application and software design.Must have 3 years of experience managing the development lifecycle from configuration to deployment.Must have 3 years of experience with at least 3 of the following:
- Hands-on experience using any API integration framework, such as MuleSoft, WSO2, or Apigee
- Experience with Azure Cloud Pipelines, or Cl/CD pipelines
- Experience in DevOps and cloud implementations.
- Experience implementing security, such as OAuth, SAML (security assertion markup language), single sign-on (SSO), or mobile device management
- Experience with front-end web technologies, and programming languages with at least 2 of the following: Angular, AngularJS, CSS (Cascading Style Sheets), or HTML5.
- Experience with back-end web technologies, and programming languages - with at least 2 of the following: SQL, RESTful API, JSON, Apache Spark, or .Net.
- Experience with programming languages, such as PowerShell, Python, C++, C#, Scala, Java, JavaScript, Hive, R, Ajax, or NoSQL technologies
- Experience testing frameworks such as Jest or Mocha
- Experience with Git or other version control/source code management software.Must have 3 years of experience in BI (Business Intelligence) technologies, such as Tableau, Spotfire, or Microsoft Power BI.Must have 2 years of experience directly managing engineering teams of 5 engineers with responsibility for career development.Domestic travel required up to 20% to meet client and internal needs.Employer will accept any suitable combination of relevant education, training, or experience.
