Amazon Web Services (AWS) is a fast paced technology company and a leader in the world of data centers. The Logistics Materials Associate reviews Lab inventory, in-bound shipments, and ongoing demand to ensure that proper stock levels are maintained in the all locations to support build and repair activities. Working with the site Facility Manager, they create plans to optimize the flow of parts through their life cycle; tracking inventory location, movement, age, and turns. They work closely with Engineers to fulfill parts quickly and accurately. They work with Procurement and Hardware Engineering to purchase new parts and interface directly with vendors to process RMAs and receive replacements. They have ongoing communications with vendors to resolve issues and help them understand our business requirements. Responsibilities include manual tasks, such as assembling, addressing, stamping and arranging for the shipment of merchandise and materials. They may also assist in daily scheduling of deliveries and pick-ups to and from production locations. Handling incoming and outgoing shipments, he or she may have to pack/unpack boxes and verify contents. The Logistics Materials Associate will contribute in process improvement efforts to find easier and faster ways to manage inventory and serve customers.Key job responsibilities

· High School diploma
· 3+ year of experience in shipping & receiving, inventory and warehousing practices.
· 3+ years of experience with inventory tracking and data analytics
· 1+ years of material forecasting experience
· Must be able to lift loads of up to 49 pounds and carry them for short distances
· A driver's license is required

· 1+ years of experience working in a Data Center
· WMS/IMS proficiency
· Associates or Bachelor’s Degree
