Technology Strategy & Execution : Define and execute the technology roadmap for Citi’s global investment platforms, including portfolio management, trading, advisory, and digital wealth experiences.
Engineering Leadership : Lead a global engineering team, fostering a culture of innovation, technical excellence, and high performance.
Platform Modernization : Drive the modernization and simplification of legacy systems, ensuring scalable, resilient, and cloud-native architectures.
Digital & AI Innovation : Integrate emerging technologies, including AI, analytics, and automation, to enhance Citi’s wealth and investment capabilities.
Client & Advisor Experience : Partner with product and business teams to deliver seamless, personalized, and integrated experiences across channels.
Risk & Compliance : Ensure robust technology controls, security, and regulatory compliance in Citi’s investment platforms.
Collaboration & Influence : Engage with senior business leaders and technology partners to align technology priorities with Citi’s Wealth strategy.
Develop roles, responsibilities, and structure team to ensure greatest impact, efficient use of resource, and alignment to business structures.
Manage regulatory agenda in line with broader business goals and work with other key Information Technology (IT) and business stakeholders to ensure consistent delivery and prioritization of initiatives.
Deliver cost savings and greater efficiency through innovation, process improvement, simplification of the technology stack and strategic outsourcing, and vendor partnerships.
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.
Qualifications:
15+ years of leadership experience in financial services technology, with deep expertise in wealth management, investment platforms, or trading technology
Knowledge of UMA, SMA, platforms, custody, alternative products (private equity, real estate, hedge funds), cash and derivative products
10+ years of managerial experience
Experience in a senior technology leadership role
Experience with global, multi-region 24/7 operating platforms
Experience working with senior business partners and stakeholders
Advanced knowledge of industry practices, standards, rules, and regulations
Working knowledge of risk and control
Understanding of global regulatory environment
Demonstrated knowledge of software development processes and practices
Demonstrated knowledge of architecture, complex systems, and key technology areas within funds administration
Ability to build and maintain peer and business relationships
Education:
Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
Master’s degree preferred
