Your key responsibilities
Your team will deliver expert advice and deploy various data privacy solutions. Your key duties include:
- Conducting Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIA)/Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs),
- Formulating data protection strategies, roadmaps, and frameworks,
- Executing data protection and privacy measures,
- Developing and providing data privacy training,
- Handling Data Privacy Requests for Proposals (RFPs),
- Staying informed on industry trends, standards, and technologies in Data Privacy.
Skills and attributes for success
- Consistently deliver quality client services. Monitor progress, manage risk and ensure key stakeholders are kept informed about progress and expected outcomes,
- Establish relationships with client personnel at appropriate levels,
- Demonstrate technical capabilities and professional knowledge as well as ability to assimilate to new knowledge,
To qualify for the role you must have
- Knowledge of general security concepts and methods such as data classification, privacy assessments, consent management, incident response, privacy policy creation, enterprise security strategies, data governance.
- Work Experience: 3 to 5 years
Understanding of various data privacy regulations and privacy concepts with focus on GDPR, demonstrated in three or more of the following areas:
- Data Discovery,
- Data Classification,
- Data Subject Requests Management,
- Incident and Breach Management,
- Privacy Impact Assessment,
- Awareness of Security standards, EU Data Privacy frameworks,
- Data flow and retention mapping,
- Data Localization,
- Governance, Risk & Compliance,
- TIA / International Data Transfer.
Ideally, you’ll also have
- BE/B.Tech/M.Tech/M.S./MBA or equivalent.
- Certifications related to Data Privacy such as CIPP/E, CIPM, CIPT.
- Basic understanding of privacy laws (for example CCPA, LGPD, HIPAA, PIPEDA)
- Understanding and ability to implement all aspects of the ISO 27001:2013 standard,
- OneTrust and BigID knowledge
