Position Responsibilities:

  • Active participation in preparation of annual financial statement reports, working alongside with local finance team
  • Compile local audit requirements in preparation of financial statements
  • Partnering with local finance in addressing any issues or concern with the statutory reporting tool
  • Guidance and training to local finance and BSC team members, eventually also external auditors in the newly implemented tool
  • Support local finance in transitioning from traditional approach preparing local statutory report to global tool
  • Review and upload Trial balance and latest chart of accounts plus ad hoc adjustment when needed
  • Provide support across General Ledger and other AtR sub-process activities
  • Update footnotes and disclosure notes explaining the insights of financial statements reported
  • Ensure that all transactions are correctly reflected in the ledger on a country basis
  • Maintain the statutory reporting tool and act as point of contact with support for eventual queries

Your profile:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Accounting or Finance
  • 3 years experience in a finance or accounting department of a multinational company including demonstrated experience in dealing with ex-US accounting
  • Excellent communication skillsin English (speaking and writing)
  • Experience with statutory accounting is a great advantage
  • Experience with IFRS is desired
  • Experience with US GAAP is desired
  • Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced and high-volume environment with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organization skills
  • SAP experience is nice to have
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office
  • Demonstrated commitment to education and professional development
  • Ability to operate independently and remain focused through change or uncertainty
  • Advanced problem solving and analytical skills with a proactive management style to implement new processes
  • You work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, under pressure and with a high degree of professionalism
  • Team player with focus on collaboration
