The Program:
Commercial Organization
- Work alongside the product management team to enhance the online shopping experience for HP.com customers by supporting the development and improvement of eCommerce features.
- Assist in managing the software development lifecycle for new eCommerce functionalities, including defining requirements, tracking progress, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Conduct market and customer research to identify trends, customer needs, and pain points to help guide product strategy and improve user experience.
- Support the creation and maintenance of product roadmaps, ensuring timely delivery of features that align with customer needs and business goals.
- Collaborate with the development, design, and marketing teams to ensure seamless implementation of product features and enhancements.
- Assist in A/B testing, tracking KPIs, and analyzing product performance to make data-driven recommendations for improvements.
- Participate in sprint planning meetings, product reviews, and retrospectives to contribute to an Agile development process.
- Help monitor and troubleshoot product issues, ensuring that customer-facing features remain functional and aligned with expectations.
• Currently enrolled in a four-year college and returning to school following the internship.
• Basic understanding of software product management and eCommerce systems.
• Proficiency with project management tools
• Strong interest in software development and product management for digital platforms.
• Good problem-solving abilities and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
