As a Business Continuity Specialist within PNC's Business Resiliency organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA, Dallas, TX, Strongsville, OH, Birmingham, AL or Phoenix, AZ. The position is primarily based in a PNC location. Responsibilities require time in the office or in the field on a regular basis. Some responsibilities may be performed remotely, at the manager’s discretion.Responsibilities include:
• Executes the assessment and risk rating Business Resiliency Third Party program, identifying risks and opportunities for contractual enhancement where applicable• Supports execution of the Business Resiliency Third Party program to meet business and regulatory expectations• Leads the evaluation, update, review, and approval of policies and procedures supporting the Third Party Business Resiliency program, which includes Technology Resilience, Operational Resilience, and traditional Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery.• Leads the review, design, and development of resiliency controls for specific business and technology risk management program components related to Third Party program(s).• Provides Resiliency/Continuity risk expertise while working with the Enterprise Third Party Management (ETPM), Lines of Businesses and other risk partners (e.g., Enterprise Risk Management, Compliance, Audit)Preferred skills include, but not limited to;
• Third Party Assessments
• Business Continuity (Resiliency) and/or Disaster Recovery First and/or Second Line of Defense experience
• Banking or other FI related experience
• Technology background preferred.
• DRI Certification (CBCP) desired
Job Description- Assists in the development of business continuity and disaster recovery plans; oversees testing, emergency response, and recovery. Guides the selection of operating strategies for the continuation of the business within a recovery time objective.
- Supports business recovery, crisis management, emergency management, contingency planning and disaster-preparedness planning. Provides support and expertise during live events.
- Conducts, communicates, and maintains business continuity lifecycle.
- Monitors and reports on the compliance of business continuity processes, readiness, events and exercise results. Supports businesses in relationships with audit and government regulators on business continuity issues.
- Develops, enhances and disseminates information on continuity processes, standards and initiatives. Provides support for the development and delivery of training on business continuity.
