The Commerce Customer Enablement team is looking for an Executive Business Administrator to provide support for the Vice President of Engineering. This position requires the ability to take on a variety of roles, work in a fast-paced environment, and show attention to detail.

As a Executive Business Administrator, you will lead theadministration function within thesetting the strategy and standards for the GM-aligned adminsepresent the organization within the admin community across C+E by partnering cwith admins outside of the organization.Support a Vice President, participate in leadership meetings, and have opportunities to stretch with different teams.

role is based in Redmond, WA and requiresa minimum ofdays per week in the office.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years Administrative, Business Support, or customer service experience in an environment with an emphasis on scheduling meetings/events, travel management, and administration work for executive/upper-level management
    • OR equivalent experience

Abilityto meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirementsrequired for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:

  • requiredto pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's Degree in relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Human Resources [HR], Marketing, Communications, Psychology, Sociology)
  • 2+ years experience serving as mentor to others
  • 3+ years experience reviewing and managing administrative budgets (e.g., for events, morale, travel, training)
    • OR equivalent experience

Business Support ATR-D - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $28.46 - $48.80 per hour. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $39.76 - $55.67 per hour.Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation. Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic calendar and time planning support for managers, and will align calendar based on manager’s preferences and style.
  • Participate in the Business Support community and begin to provide leadership, such as by seeking mentors.
  • Own the coordination, logistics, and direction of events, delegating as necessary.
  • Balance multiple projects end to end with varying deadlines.
  • Oversee inventory management, participate in discretionary budget tracking and reporting, and own expense management, understand and help implement rhythm of business (ROB).
  • Manage up-to-date space-management processes and team spaces, maintaining detailed data to recommend changes and identify future requirements.
  • Manage travel arrangements and create detailed itineraries for daily activities.
  • Represent the organization within the admin community across C+E by partnering closelywith admins outside of the organization.
  • Effectively manage a demanding workload under time constraints with a calm, confident and positive attitude
  • Be self-motivated, have effective communication and interpersonal skills,exercisingsound judgment, tact, diplomacy,integrityand professionalismat all times
  • Possess an aptitude to work independently and be comfortable operating aloneand making progress across multiple deliverablessimultaneously
  • Multi-task and change direction in rapid response to a fluctuating work environment,evolvingpriorities,andmaketimelydecisions
  • Showcase project-management and problem-solving skills
  • Experience managing security groups, distribution lists,SharePointand Team calendars for the organization.
  • Work with corporate catering and ability to book MPR rooms.
