As a Project Accountant here at Honeywell, you will play acrucial role in managing project accounting and ensuring compliance withaccounting policies, regulations, and the SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley) framework. Youwill be responsible for conducting EAC (Estimate at Completion) reviews,analyzing project financials, and providing insights to supportdecision-making. Your expertise in project accounting, financial analysis, andSOX compliance will contribute to the success of our projects and the overallfinancial performance of the project health.
You will report directly to aControllership Manager, and you'll work out of our Sky Harbor HQ on a hybridwork schedule. In this role, you will work cross functionally with ProgramManagement, Program Controls, and Finance and have high visibility with seniorleadership.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct EAC reviews and analyze project financials to ensureaccuracy and completeness
- Learn the principles of accounting for long-termengineering contracts.
- Collaborate with project teams to provide financialinsights and support decision-making
- Ensure compliancewith accounting policies, regulations, and the SOX framework and supportinternal and external audit requests
- Prepare financial reports and presentations for internaland external stakeholders
- Assist in the development and implementation of projectaccounting processes and controls
US Citizen Requirement
Must be a US Citizen due to contractual requirements
YOU MUST HAVE
- Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance
- 3+ years of directly related accounting/financial analysis experience
