What you’ll do:
- Lead and mentor the Service Operations team, ensuring the highest levels of availability, performance, and scalability for Redis Cloud services.
- Define and execute the strategic vision for service operations, aligning it with broader Cloud Operations objectives and driving continuous improvement in our cloud platform working closely with R&D teams.
- Oversee and enhance incident, problem and change management processes, ensuring rapid issue resolution, thorough root cause analyses, and the implementation of effective preventive measures.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, product, and security teams to innovate in deployment, monitoring, and automation, ensuring seamless operations across our global infrastructure.
- Lead critical, high-impact maintenance and operational activities, ensuring clear communication and minimal disruption to customers.
- Champion continuous improvement initiatives, focusing on operational excellence, security, and customer satisfaction within the Redis Cloud ecosystem.
What will you need to have?
- Extensive leadership experience in cloud operations or site reliability engineering, with a track record of managing large-scale, high-availability, distributed systems.
- Strategic thinking and experience in driving service operations initiatives that align with broader business and Cloud Operations goals.
- Proven expertise in incident management, problem-solving, and the implementation of comprehensive, long-term preventive measures.
- Deep understanding of cloud infrastructure, automation, monitoring, and disaster recovery best practices.
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and inspire cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels.
Extra great if you have:
- Deep experience with Redis or other in-memory databases.
- Advanced knowledge of DevOps practices, observability platforms, containerization, and infrastructure as code.
- Experience in a customer-centric role, with a proven ability to understand and prioritize customer needs within the context of cloud service operations.

The estimated gross base annual salary range for this role is$227,700–$324,983
