As an accounting intern with a focus on Financial Reporting, you’ll be actively engaged in the reconciliation and research of equity, goodwill and intangible accounts, global consolidation, technical transactions, and preparing quarterly financial disclosures and related filings. At Jacobs, we never settle – our team strives to continually improve processes, integrating automation and acceleration wherever possible in our policies and procedures for financial reporting activities. You’ll collaborate across functions and various projects to support efficient and effective financial reporting and disclosure processes. Our team diligently ensures compliance with GAAP, company policies and procedures, SEC reporting requirements and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements.
