What You’ll Do:

• Act as a technical lead for a diverse set of projects creating solutions based in microservices and reusable APIs to create a seamless customer experience and to enable our engineers to better leverage cloud platforms and deliver customer value

• Share your passion for staying on top of tech trends, experimenting with and learning new technologies, participating in internal & external technology communities, mentoring other members of the engineering community and be asked to code or evaluate code

• Collaborate with product managers, and deliver robust cloud-based solutions that drive powerful experiences to help millions of Americans achieve financial empowerment

• Utilize prevalent open source languages and coding techniques to create data-centric applications capable of empowering engineers to focus on their code and not end customer implementations

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree

• At least 4 years of professional software engineering experience (Internship experience does not apply)

• At least 1 year experience with cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud)

Preferred Qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience in at least one of the following: Java, Python, Go, or Node.js

• 2+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, or another cloud service implementing layered fine and coarse grained network controls

• 4+ years of experience in open source frameworks

• Professional certification for AWS Solutions Architect

• Specialty certification for AWS Advanced Networking

• Familiarity with AWS IAM and policy controls
