Minimum Qualifications
- * Professional expertise in software engineering
- * Skilled with one or more advanced programming language such as C, C++, Java or Go
- * Full product lifecycle ownership mindset (design → implementation → production)
- * Passionate about improving the team and partners you work with
Preferred Qualifications
- * Professional expertise in Traffic/Edge Engineering or Cloud Networking
- * Experience with automating operations (e.g., software deployments, config changes) at scaleProven expertise with Linux network stack
- * Understanding of performance analysis and optimizations
- * Hands-on experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (e.g., Terraform, Chef, Puppet)
- * Passionate about contributing to open source projects such as Envoy (http://envoyproxy.io/) and working across a large organization to meet Apple’s dynamic traffic needs
- * Experience with core production engineering best practices (e.g., designing for operability and scalability, adopting SLOs, eliminating toil).
Pay & Benefits
- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $197,400 and $296,300, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Note: Apple benefit, compensation and employee stock programs are subject to eligibility requirements and other terms of the applicable plan or program.
