IBM Site Reliability Engineer

In this Site Reliability Engineer role, you will work closely with several Data Centers, the entire Cloud organization and IBM vendors to support, maintain and operationally improve the IBM cloud infrastructure. You will focus on the following key responsibilities:

• Day to day maintenance of Cloud servers, base OS and applications
• Create new automations and configuration management to ensure consistency.
• Deep dive into troubleshooting when issues occur and resolve
• Partner with other SRE teams to deliver production ready services

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Mid level linux systems administrator with experience with debian and redhat OS.
• Experience with automation tooling and framework, specifically jenkins and ansible. Plus if they know chef.
• Good experience with programming languages such as python, ruby, and groovy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Knowledge of IBM Cloud or any other public cloud global infrastructure services
