What the Candidate Will Do:
- Building and refining the Uber One member experience that captures new users and drives engagement
- Enhancing user engagement for our members by creating a fun, motivating benefits that show value across Uber and nudge members to explore & try more.
- You will define, own, and execute the product roadmap, working closely with cross-functional counterparts (Engineering, Data Science, Design, Operations, and more).
- Partnering with a dedicated team of engineers to communicate product requirements, oversee feature builds, and ensure timely releases.
- Working with other teams, like core product, user research and design, to develop product specifications that enhance our membership program.
- Running experiments and monitoring the performance of new features to assess effectiveness and identify opportunities for iteration.
Basic Qualifications:
- Product Experience: 3+ years of product management experience delivering highly successful and innovative products with your fingerprints all over them - and you're deeply proud of what you've accomplished.
- Strategic: You can craft a coherent product vision, multi-year strategy, and quarterly roadmap that your team and the business rallies behind.
- Business-minded : You are passionate about building businesses, not features. You not only own the user metrics but also own and optimize business performance metrics.
- Analytical depth: you're experienced in running complex experiments and can deftly dive into data and analysis
- UX oriented: You think creatively about how to make features and experiences engaging and fun for users in a memorable way.
- Research driven: You continuously gather research and insights as to what our consumers need to drive deeper engagement across the Uber platform. You find a way to get the insights and data you need and whip it into an insightful story with no help.
- Technical chops: you have collaborated with engineers in developing the technical architecture of the products you have built, and are comfortable discussing requirement and scope tradeoffs.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous Subscription experience launching products across global markets.
For New York, NY-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$161,000 per year - USD$179,000 per year.
For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$161,000 per year - USD$179,000 per year.
