We are seeking an architect specializing in multimedia algorithms (Imaging, Computer Vision, Graphics) for Silicon Acceleration. The role requires knowledge in both classic and ML algorithms. The candidate will lead the development of algorithms, software modeling, and bit-accurate specifications for hardware acceleration.
AR Silicon Accelerators Algorithms Architect Responsibilities
- Solve end-to-end problems in domains of Image processing for Camera / Display / Computer Vision / Graphics
- Invent and develop Algorithms that combine ML and ‘classic’ processing that are optimizing performance at low power
- Develop software including functional model and bit accurate model in fixed point
- Closely work with SW teams across the entire stack to support the enablement of the features
- Provide support and guidance to the silicon implementation teams that is designing and verifying the accelerators
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 12+ years of experience in Imaging Algorithms / CV Algorithms / Graphics
- Track record of developing algorithms, from concept to implementation in Silicon and / or Software
- Proficiency in C++ / C, including fixed point implementation
- Experience in developing models for performance analysis and optimization
Preferred Qualifications
- PhD in EE / Computer Science or related fields
- Experience developing algorithms for acceleration in AR/VR or Mobile application processors
