BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent work-related experience
Experienced as an established technical leader of software engineering teams that have successfully delivered customer-driven software products.
Demonstrated experience leading positive change, empowering people, cultivating product technology visions and innovative solutions, and fostering effective engineering teams.
Adept at articulating the product vision and drive the future roadmap with strong business acumen and how technical solutioning fits into the end-to-end process.
Ability to think and act strategically for all stakeholders.
Passion for being at the leading edge of technology with a minimum of 8-12 years of hands on software development experience ideally in product or platform environments.
Ideally 4-8 years of experience leading software development teams with 8-20 engineers ranging experience levels up to Staff engineers.
Experience with Agile development and methodologies and SaaS and/or mobile technologies.
Proven experience with an automation mindset and a DevOps culture
Strategic and analytical thinker who is hypothesis driven and uses data, judgment & pattern recognition to learn and move quickly
Possesses strong verbal and written communication skills.
Experience developing scalable consumer-facing SaaS software using modern, open stack technologies
Ability to lead complex change in an organization by articulating a clear case for change and then gaining shared vision with employees through effective, frequent and timely communication.
