Your key responsibilities

FY Investment Planning:

  • Validate demand estimates and load ITP plan

Demand Management:

  • Review and validate project estimates prior to final demand approval

Investment Portfolio Financials:

  • Facilitate financial reviews with PMs to ensure forecasts are accurately maintained in PPM
  • Collaborate with Finance to ensure project P&L impact is accurately forecasted in ITP
  • Load project forecasts into ITP
  • Collaborate with Business Managers to ensure Risks and Opportunities to investment financials are collected
  • Oversee investment financials at L2 finance review meetings

Risk Management:

  • Facilitate portfolio risk and issue reviews
  • Identify and escalate risks at the portfolio level

Change Management:

  • Validate financial impact (cash and P&L) of project changes

Performance Monitor and Reporting:

  • Facilitate Portfolio Health Reviews
  • Monitor compliance to project management KPIs
  • Track overall portfolio health and performance

Skills and attributes for success

  • Strong Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex data and financial information to make informed decisions.
  • Financial Acumen: Understanding of financial principles, budgeting, and forecasting, particularly in relation to project P&L.
  • Effective Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to convey complex information clearly to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Collaboration and Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including project managers, finance, and leadership.

To qualify for the role you must have

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
  • 5-10 years of experience
  • Experience of working within multi-location teams

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • Experience in a Professional Services Firm
