Description
As a senior member of the team, you will be responsible for leading, planning and designing all aspects of assigned animation and motion projects to deliver superior design in accordance with project timelines, constraints, and parameters. This includes planning and art directing channel projects from ideation through delivery of production.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:Developing well-conceived, innovative, flexible motion design systems that implement strategy and clear story telling. Interpreting creative vision from leadership and disseminating that vision into compelling motion design and at times, guiding vendors and freelancers.Well-defined conceptual and problem solving skills.Co-leading and designing the successful creation and production of assets, following creative direction, product briefs, and driving long-term strategies. Delivering persuasive, creative presentations, communicating effectively alongside creative leadership across all groups of the organization.
Minimum Qualifications
- BA/BFA degree in Graphic Design, Motion Graphics, or other related discipline.
- 10+ years of motion design and art direction experience, with motion design at the core of your skillset.
- A portfolio exhibiting a thorough grasp of design principles, animation principles (3D and 2D), motion theory, live action film/video, typography and visual communication.
- Experience with the following design/animation software: Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator), After Effects, Cinema 4D (or equivalent 3D tool).

- Resourceful, with excellent organizational skills to file work in a manner that can be shared with the team, ensuring deadlines are met.
- Vendor and/or team management experience, with the ability to redirect creative development to tell the right story.
- Guide and evaluate the work, and when necessary, redirect creative development.
- Approach design with curiosity and passion— with a keen awareness of the evolving landscape of available tools, technologies, resources, and trends.
Pay & Benefits
- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $143,900 and $269,100, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Note: Apple benefit, compensation and employee stock programs are subject to eligibility requirements and other terms of the applicable plan or program.
