Amazon Software Development Engineer II AWS DynamoDB Observability Scaling

You and your team have the unique perspective and visibility into the core component's performance in DynamoDB. You will build new instrumentation and metric to understand which components contribute to how much latency, and work on latency reduction efforts at every percentile. Additionally, you will drive and set the performance target for each component and continuously improves DynamoDB's capacity management model.Key job responsibilities
- Solid understanding of software and system designs
- Scale distributed systems with optimal balance between performance and cost
- Automate and improve repetitive operational processes

- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 3+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
- 3+ years of contributing to new and current systems architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) experience

- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
