Duties and Responsibilities
- Detailed knowledge and experience in the electrical discipline, with basic knowledge of related disciplines
- Quality control for project design in the office and around the region
- Evaluation and selection of electrical systems, such as distribution voltage levels, and equipment such as Switchgear and Motor Control Center
- Understand and apply discipline codes, standards, and legislation
- Ability to complete field investigations of electrical installations
- Ability to support local construction activities and respond to technical Requests for Information (RFI) in a timely manner
- Power system design for municipal and industrial loads
- Lighting design proficiency in industrial settings
- Ability to use CAD tools (SKM, AGI32, and MicroStation)
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, showing resilience, emotional composure, and self-management
- Ability to lead discipline teams, including engineers and technicians
- Able to mentor and train junior team members
- Excellent communication and presentation skills (spoken and written)
- Strong interpersonal skills, demonstrating commitment to achieving group objectives
