As aService Specialist,you will:

Complete calibrations in a safe, timely, and accurate manner, following Siemens and customer specific policies and proposals.

• Calibrate various types of instrumentation including temperature, pressure, and humidity transmitters.
• Troubleshoot / adjust instrumentation, as necessary.
• Follow current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs).
• Occasionally work on other facility related work tasks/issues that are outside the calibration department’s normal work duties.
• Work with medium and low voltages.

You will make an impact with these qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

• Basic understanding of Traceability, Test Accuracy and Tolerances.
• Skilled with mechanical and electrical instrumentation; as well as computer-based process control loops and systems; understands and applies basic concepts of calibration and requirements including accuracy testing.
• Understanding and application of instrument, equipment, and loop calibrations of various parameters in manufacturing and laboratory environments.
• Electro-mechanical experience (either in a previous role or through education) and user PC/software skill (Entry)
• 2+ years of experience performing preventive maintenance and diagnostics of Automation Systems (Mid Level)
• Ability and willingness to work in a variety of circumstances, including climbing ladders, scaffolds, and high lift equipment, working in ducts, crawl spaces, roofs, basements, above ceilings, and in various conditions
• Must be able to use hand tools, laptop, email, smartphone, and tablet as well as able to carry and move equipment and tools weighing up to 50 pounds unassisted
• Must be 18 years of age and possess a valid driver's license with limited violations
• Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications:

• High school diploma or state-recognized GED
• Customer is a Pharmaceutical Manufacturer. Knowledge of cGMP is a plus.
• Specialized skill training/certification
• Experience installing and servicing electronic control or HVAC equipment
• Demonstrated knowledge of Building Automation systems, PLCs, BMS, HVAC, electrical concepts, and building operations

• The pay range for this position is $41,510 - $82,680 / year. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
