As aService Specialist,you will:
Complete calibrations in a safe, timely, and accurate manner, following Siemens and customer specific policies and proposals.
- Calibrate various types of instrumentation including temperature, pressure, and humidity transmitters.
- Troubleshoot / adjust instrumentation, as necessary.
- Follow current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs).
- Occasionally work on other facility related work tasks/issues that are outside the calibration department’s normal work duties.
- Work with medium and low voltages.
You will make an impact with these qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
- Basic understanding of Traceability, Test Accuracy and Tolerances.
- Skilled with mechanical and electrical instrumentation; as well as computer-based process control loops and systems; understands and applies basic concepts of calibration and requirements including accuracy testing.
- Understanding and application of instrument, equipment, and loop calibrations of various parameters in manufacturing and laboratory environments.
- Electro-mechanical experience (either in a previous role or through education) and user PC/software skill (Entry)
- 2+ years of experience performing preventive maintenance and diagnostics of Automation Systems (Mid Level)
- Ability and willingness to work in a variety of circumstances, including climbing ladders, scaffolds, and high lift equipment, working in ducts, crawl spaces, roofs, basements, above ceilings, and in various conditions
- Must be able to use hand tools, laptop, email, smartphone, and tablet as well as able to carry and move equipment and tools weighing up to 50 pounds unassisted
- Must be 18 years of age and possess a valid driver's license with limited violations
- Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications:
- High school diploma or state-recognized GED
- Customer is a Pharmaceutical Manufacturer. Knowledge of cGMP is a plus.
- Specialized skill training/certification
- Experience installing and servicing electronic control or HVAC equipment
- Demonstrated knowledge of Building Automation systems, PLCs, BMS, HVAC, electrical concepts, and building operations

- The pay range for this position is $41,510 - $82,680 / year. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
