In this role, you’ll work at the forefront of cryptography and machine learning using techniques like homomorphic encryption, secure multi-party computation and differential privacy. You will be responsible for designing, implementing and deploying provably-secure protocols to solve mission-critical problems. These solutions will be deployed to billion devices at scale. This position requires expertise in homomorphic encryption. You should have experience building cryptographic systems and be able to reason about their security and their application and use in larger frameworks
The successful candidate will be researching, designing, and implementing cryptographic protocols in security critical missions deployed to billion devices at scale. Writing production quality code is a must. You will implement cryptographic solutions, while ensuring feasibility and scalability. This will require making tradeoffs between memory, power, and latency. You will have significant experience in working with scalable cryptographic systems for real-world problems.
- PhD, or equivalent practical experience in Computer Science, Cryptography, Applied Mathematics, or similar.
- 5+ years of expertise within Cryptography, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or similar
- Expertise in Homomorphic Encryption
- Experience designing efficient secure protocols
- Ability to communicate complex ideas at a variety of abstractions
- Ability to distill product experiences into concrete problem definitions.
