You’ll join a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles. You’ll collaborate with people across AWS to help us deliver the highest standards for safety and security while providing seemingly infinite capacity at the lowest possible cost for our customers. Key job responsibilities
• You’ll drive programs deploying AWS networking infrastructure in AWS Data Centers and to meet the ever-growing customer demand.
• Manage competing cross-organizational projects/programs on a global scale.
• Develop long range financial models to drive investment strategies.
• You’ll interact cross-team Deployment Managers, cross-team Technical Program Managers, Engineers, and Data Center Technicians and senior management.
• You’ll participate in Network Design engineering reviews.
• You will run meetings, create and maintain timelines, and keep large, diverse groups informed of progress and obstacles.
• You’ll work with engineers to develop detailed and creative solutions to complex problems, while keeping a watchful-eye on timelines and costs.
• You’ll drive simplification efforts in engineering and project/program management, and architectures to unblock innovation.

• Bachelor’s Degree or 4+ years of equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of technical program management experience.
• 3+ years of experience in networking technologies and building and deploying Data Center networks.
• 3+ years of experience in writing technical documents or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience creating complex financial models to understand business impacts of various network solutions.

• 5+ years of technical technical network development experience in a related industry.
• Experience of solving complex problems in physical infrastructure project management.
• Experience with and deep understanding of multiple project management methodologies and developing metrics.
• 5+ years of experience with quantitative analytics and presentation to leadership.
• Proficiency with MS Project, MS Office, MS Excel, MS Access and MS SharePoint, or similar tools.
• In-depth knowledge and experience of optical networking technologies and developments.
