Job Description:

The impact you will have in this role:

  • Provides sales advice and execute short-term strategic direction and operating plans for a small to medium complex market/product line
  • Execute priority programs within the country to drive profitable sales growth
  • Drive excellence in sales execution implementing strategic direction and go-to-market plans in country/region, focusing on sales growth
  • Develop and implement channel strategies to meet sales targets and expand market presence.
  • Problem solving requires hypothetical thinking to determine best solutions for complex problems. Utilizes resources across work areas and departments to create solutions. Most complex problem solving may require in-depth interpretation and analysis for significantly different situations.
  • Track distributor scorecard metrics
  • Develop and implement cooperative opportunity plans with 3M’s designated distribution partners that include both end-user opportunities and marketing activation
  • Drive sales growth by working closely with channel partners to promote products and achieve targets
  • Understand customer processes and pain points, while providing solutions and technologies to address them (together with Application Engineering team)
  • Monitor and analyze sales data, market trends, and channel partner performance to optimize strategy
  • Provides demand input to Integrated Business Planning
  • Provides input to Area Portfolio Leader to determine pricings strategies
  • Ensures Compliance; Ethics and Compliance (shared with Country Leader & RBGL) and local regulations (shared with Area Division leaders)
  • Completed university education, degree required inElectrical Engineering or Technical degree with at least 3 years of experience in the field
  • Preferably experience in technical sales (2 or more years).
  • Availability to travel.
  • Minimum of 2 - 3 years of commercial experience in sales of differentiated products that require cost-benefit analysis, pencil selling, and problem-solving.
  • 2-3 years of experience in the electrical field (ICE, CNFL, etc.)
  • Technical skills, ability to handle pneumatic and electric tools.
  • Advance Knowledge in Excel, Power BI and Salesforce.
  • Results-oriented, able to work under pressure, integrity, collaborative.
  • Negotiation skills.
