Role Description:
You will be required to provide strong financial and analytical support to your business unit (BU) or department’s stakeholders. You will have to bridge what the data tell you and how that could help decision-making on a wide array of topics.
You will be supporting the planning and forecasting cycles for both financial and operational business metrics. This includes revenues, expenses and other important KPIs. You will also be involved in reporting versus budget and forecast and support on ad-hoc analyses whenever there is a need from the business.
Key Job Responsibilities and Duties:
Support with forecasting, variance analysis and reporting of financial performance;
Contribute to robust, scalable and insightful reporting of the business unit or department’s key metrics;
Proactively deliver intelligence based on data to support and advise the FP&A team and/or business partners whenever necessary;
Provide analytical support and contribute to strategic decision making;
Continuously seek ways to improve and optimize the existing reporting to fit with evolving requests from senior management;
Perform ad-hoc analysis, scenarios and benchmarking as needed.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Business/Finance or other related field (preferred);
2-4 years’ experience in a similar role;
Strong financial modeling and analytical skills;
High attention to detail and ability to connect the dots and reconcile multiple data sources;
Strong communication skills and ability to present to different audiences;
Self-driven mentality, proactively seeking to find solutions to problems and providing the best analytics possible to key decision makers
Advanced knowledge of Excel;
Strong affinity with modern reporting and analytics tools such as Microstrategy, Power BI, Tableau, or similar data visualization platforms. Familiarity with SQL for querying and a basic understanding of data modeling concepts is preferred;
Ability to understand, work with and proactively advise and influence senior business partners;
Sees the headlines or big picture whilst having attention for the details;
Strong team-working skills with ability to work independently;
Comfortable working in cross-functional teams and working in an unstructured environment;
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously and drive projects to completion.
