Middle Office Asset Servicing is driving a forward moving agenda to enhance the client experience and operating processes. As a result, In this role you will directly focus specifically on Middle Office Asset Servicing (Corporate Actions).
As an Asset Servicing Client Service Associate in the Prime Middle Office team, you will be responsible for managing client relationships and supporting the global corporate actions teams. The team is tasked with resolving queries, managing exceptions and coordinating elections on voluntary events.
Job Responsibilities
- Accurately review and handle Corporate Actions queries (dividends, P&I, mandatory, voluntary, proxy, tax) queries
- Adherence to firm and departmental procedures and controls
- Ensuring 100% responses are received and sent on Corporate Action elections.
- Understanding the control environment and ensuring daily checks are completed
- Participate in and facilitate team huddles
- Escalate appropriately to senior managers
- Assist with team and departmental processes and projects
Required qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Financial markets product knowledge and working knowledge of the operational trade lifecycle (Equities, Fixed Income)
- Corporate Actions, Income and Proxy event management & transaction processing experience
- Excellent problem solving skills to identify, understand and address operational and technical issues
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to develop relationships with external hedge fund clients & connect internally across various greater operational / business stakeholders
- Works well across a team environment and within compressed timeframes

- Strong analytical and interpersonal skills
- Middle Office exposure with Prime Brokerage a plus
