Reporting to theQuality Technician Adminrole is responsible for ISO audits, data entry, report creations and work instructions for support Orangeburg facility.


What a typical day looks like:

  • Audits processes, tests and inspects products and/or develops, compiles and evaluates statistical data to define and maintain quality and reliability of products.
  • Working from engineering drawings, specifications, schematics, diagrams, written descriptions, layouts or defined plans to perform complex engineering testing, checkout, First Article Inspection, root cause research, internal corrective actions and supplier correction actions.
  • Selects processes to be audited from primarily the manufacturing areas and checks for a variety of features, including ESD (electro-static discharge) and handling practices, documentation, training and process integrity.
  • Selects products for audits at specified stages in the production or post-production process, and tests products for variety of qualities such as dimensions, performance and mechanical, electrical or cosmetic characteristics.
  • Records audit data, applying statistical quality control procedures.
  • Evaluates data and writes reports, maintain quality and document control
  • Recommends modifications of existing quality or production standards, programs or reports to achieve optimum quality within limits of equipment capability.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

  • Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, technical training, or equivalent experience.
  • Typically requires 2 years of related experience.
  • Requires the ability to utilize charts, tables and specifications, and operate a variety of measuring instruments.
  • Basic comprehension of typical quality tools, such as 8d, statistical process control, FEMA and control plans.
  • Good oral / written communication, teamwork and interpersonal skills are required. Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple tasks simultaneously is required.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
  • ASQ certification as CQT, CQA, CQPA or CSSGB is desired ISO 9001, ESD, needed
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel)
