to lead the design of intuitive, user-friendly experiences for complex systems. This role requires you to own the entire product design process, from research and ideation to high-fidelity prototyping and final implementation. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, and other designers, to develop and maintain a cohesive design system, ensuring consistency across our products. Experience in complex domains such as cybersecurity is a plus.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design Leadership: Lead the design process from end-to-end, creating wireframes, journey maps, prototypes, and detailed mockups to iterate on product scenarios and communicate design concepts to stakeholders and partners.
  • Complex Systems Design: Design user experiences for complex systems, transforming abstract ideas into concrete, functional interfaces while managing both business and user needs.
  • Design System Management: Develop, manage, and evolve design toolkits, interaction models, product assets, and data visualizations. Collaborate with the design system team to ensure consistency and scalability across products.
  • Cross-Disciplinary Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams (PMs, engineers, marketing, content, etc.) across all stages of design and development, using storytelling and constructive feedback to drive design outcomes.
  • Problem-Solving & Constraints: Understand customer needs, identify problems, and create solutions within engineering and technical constraints. Challenge design and engineering limitations when necessary to push for the best user experiences.
  • Mentorship & Guidance: Provide mentorship and design guidance to other designers and engineers, ensuring that design intent is carried through to final implementation in code.
  • Project Ownership: Independently manage multiple projects, including timelines, deliverables, and production. Ensure the successful execution of projects from inception to launch.
  • Strategic Focus: Align design work with strategic business goals and objectives, guiding team members in executing tasks that focus on key results and business impact.
  • User Testing & Validation: Conduct user research, testing, and validation to improve the quality and usability of designs. Iterate on feedback and data insights to refine product experiences.
  • Continuous Learning & Process Improvement: Stay updated on emerging design trends, technologies, and industry best practices. Proactively suggest and implement improvements to design processes and tools.
  • Initiative & Innovation: Take initiative to explore UX-driven ideas and design improvements that drive innovation and deliver meaningful value to users and the business.

Experience: Minimum of 6+ years of experience in product design (UX/UI) with a focus on B2B products, ideally within complex technical domains such as cybersecurity.


Expertise in:

  • Visual & Interaction Design: Deep knowledge of visual design principles, interaction design, and user-centered methodologies. Strong prototyping skills and the ability to translate complex systems into simple, engaging user experiences.
  • Design Systems: Proven experience in creating and maintaining design systems, including style guides, component libraries, and reusable frameworks for consistent product design.
  • Prototyping & Design Tools: Expert-level proficiency in Figma for both design and prototyping. Ability to create detailed, high-fidelity prototypes that demonstrate product functionality.
  • Front-End Development Knowledge: Understanding of front-end development principles (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to facilitate effective collaboration with engineering teams during design handoffs and implementation.
  • User Research & Testing: Skilled in conducting user research, usability testing, and turning feedback into actionable design improvements.
  • Agile/Lean Methodologies: Familiarity with agile or lean methodologies and an ability to work within iterative development cycles.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Visual Communication Design, Interaction Design, Product Design, Industrial Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
  • Security Domain Experience: Experience in designing for the security domain or other highly technical industries is a significant advantage.
  • Strategic & Critical Thinking: Ability to question established thinking and advocate for user experience improvements, balancing both business needs and user-centric solutions.
  • Portfolio: A strong online portfolio showcasing experience in interaction design, particularly for complex systems where simplicity and ease of use were primary concerns.

  • Collaboration: Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience working across cross-functional teams (PMs, engineers, designers, etc.).
