- Design, develop, and deploy custom applications using Power Apps to streamline business processes and improve user experience.
- Create automated workflows and processes using Power Automate to enhance operational efficiency.
- Develop interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI to provide actionable insights and support data-driven decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, analyze business needs, and translate them into technical specifications.
- Conduct testing and debugging of applications to ensure functionality, performance, and security.
- Provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing Power Platform solutions, implementing enhancements as needed.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Power Platform features, best practices, and industry trends to continuously improve development processes.
- Train and support end-users on Power Platform applications and tools, fostering a culture of self-service analytics and automation.
To qualify for the role, you must have
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Power Platform Developer or similar role, with a strong portfolio of developed applications and solutions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Power Platform tools, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Power Pages and Copilot Studio
- 3–6 years in senior development or technical consulting roles with hands-on development experience.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in Power Apps, Power Automate, Copilot Studio (Power Virtual Agent).
- Strong understanding of data integration, APIs, and database concepts.
- Familiarity with Azure services and their integration with Microsoft Power Platform solutions
- Experience with Microsoft Dataverse and SharePoint is required
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and project management tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Microsoft Power Platform Fundamentals Certification (PL-900)
Ideally, you’ll also have
- Microsoft Power Platform certifications (e.g., PL-100, PL-200) are highly desirable.
- Experience in developing solutions for specific industries (e.g., finance, healthcare) is a plus.
- Experience with deployment pipelines and CI/CD
- Knowledge and expertise on Plugins
- Hands-on experience with other low-code no-code and automation technologies (e.g. UiPath, Blue Prism, Pega, WorkFusion)

The salary range for this job in British Columbia is $110,000to $165,000. Individual salaries within this range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and work location city.
