Responsibilities include the following but are not limited to:

  • Develop and execute a diverse range of tactical and strategic marketing activities in close collaboration with other Internal Communication team members.

  • Develop knowledge and understanding of operational elements that need to be considered as part of the creative journey.

  • Develop a strong understanding of all other roles within the larger team (marketing, brand/media, comms, content, production), and partner to develop new and existing initiatives.

  • Exhibit a proven ability to manage medium to large scale projects within the constraints of time, scope and budget.

  • Be flexible and open to changing priorities and managing multiple tasks simultaneously within compressed timeframes.

  • Develop and support projects to enhance visibility of NM DMO priorities across all channels.

  • Influence and work effectively with different levels of management, as well as employees.

  • Partner, communicate and collaborate with customers from different teams and departments.

  • Develop creative and strategic communications with innovative ideas to keep our workforce engaged.

  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with senior internal stakeholders.

  • Partner with communication team members to execute best-in-class marketing strategies and create a holistic voice and amplify our most important messages.

  • Translate complex initiatives and programs into simplified, succinct, inspiring, and understandable communications.

  • Manage several independent tasks with limited direction and be willing to shift gears when needed, partnering with team members, creating cross-functional network for improved amplification and alignment of messaging, timing, and channels.

  • Ensure consistent adherence to brand standards, tone, style, structure, and voice of content, and consulting on best communications practices.

  • Ensure communication messaging and materials are high quality, brand aligned, accurate, appropriate and integrated with organization's strategic imperatives and messaging themes.

  • Learn and develop proficiency with internal communication tools (Studio, Adobe Pro Suite, FMSC, ChatGPT, Microsoft Suite).

  • Provide backup support for Graphic Designer in development of print and digital media, as needed.

  • Authoring, campaign execution, co-ordination, content development, digital marketing, media planning.

The ideal candidates should have the following behavioral traits:

  • Outstanding communications with an understanding of amplification tactics to make a stronger impact.

  • Proven expertise in leading communications programs with a keen understanding of plan and messaging structure considering audience and business objectives, environmental factors, communications channels, cadence, and success metrics.

  • Proven program management skills and experience driving multiple deliverables independently and working with stakeholders.

  • Self-motivated, proactive, and strong attention to detail.

  • Working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.

Contract Duration: 6 months - 1 year.

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.


The candidate must have a bachelor's degree in marketing communications, journalism, business administration, or any related field.

  • 1+ years of experience in writing and editing marketing and internal content; willingness to build campaigns and resource tools; experience with web and digital content preferred.

  • 3+ years of experience working with Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Sharepoint Online).

  • 1+ years of experience working with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop and graphic design capability.

  • This position is not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of experience with a corporate communications or marketing team strongly preferred.
