Our Purpose:

As a Quality Engineering Intern, your job is the most important in ensuring patient safety and quality of care. The Quality Engineer develops, establishes and maintains quality engineering methodologies, systems, and practices which meet BSC, customer, and regulatory requirements. You will serve as a Quality representative for quality initiatives to support departmental, functional, site, divisional, and corporate quality goals and priorities. You will provide focused quality engineering support in a fast paced and dynamic manufacturing environment and work cross functionally to improve the manufacturing process. You will build relationships with professionals in a diverse range of fields, inspiring people to embrace a culture of continuous improvement. Your Impact

  • Develop knowledge about the business, operational issues, and product families associated with applicable divisional products.
  • Contribute to the preparation and production of proposals and reports by using word processing, spreadsheets, and other computer programs.
  • Prepare an oral and written evaluation for presentation to Management upon completion of internship.

Qualifications:

  • Current Bachelor's student in your Junior or Senior year or grad student. Must have at least one semester of school left post-internship to qualify.
  • Pursing degree in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related STEM field.
  • Must have authorization to work in the United States without restriction.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with diverse, cross-functional teams.
  • Self-starter with the ability to identify improvement opportunities and passion to learn new technologies and find new solutions.
  • Knowledge of analytical techniques and statistical analysis
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and Outlook.
