The key responsibilities of a Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) Team Chief Engineer typically include:1. Planning and Coordination: Developing and implementing NDT plans, schedules, and procedures for various projects or inspections. Coordinating with project managers, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure NDT activities align with project requirements and timelines.2. Technical Leadership: Providing technical guidance and oversight to the NDT team, ensuring that testing methods and techniques are applied correctly and consistently. Staying up-to-date with the latest NDT technologies, standards, and industry best practices.3. Quality Assurance: Ensuring that NDT activities comply with relevant codes, standards, and specifications. Implementing quality control measures and reviewing NDT reports and data for accuracy and completeness.5. Equipment Management: Overseeing the selection, procurement, maintenance, and calibration of NDT equipment and instruments. Ensuring that equipment is properly maintained and calibrated to meet industry standards and project requirements.6. Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyzing and interpreting NDT data and results. Preparing comprehensive reports and presenting findings to clients, project managers, and other stakeholders.7. Safety and Compliance: Ensuring that NDT activities are conducted in a safe and compliant manner, adhering to relevant safety regulations, environmental guidelines, and company policies.8. - Technical (Military/Trade School) training or degree in a relevant field (for example: electrical, mechanical).
- 3+ years of electrical or mechanical experience.
- 3+ years of data center or mission critical facilities (example: hospital, military facility, public safety facility, etc.) experience.
- 4+ years of Data Center Engineering Experience.
- Associates or Bachelor’s Degree.
- Experience leading a team
