the user interface testing of web-based training content deployed within the Citi Learning Management System and in related training delivery systems within Citi.The overall objective of this role is to provide day-to-day operations support in alignment with Citi operations support infrastructure and processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Be responsible for the testing of web-based trainings for the purpose of ensuring alignment with published Citi Design and Technical standards for web-based training modules deployed within the Citi LMS and/or related training delivery systems in use within Citi.
  • Test the functionality of web-based trainings on Citi configured PCs using all Citi supported web-browsers including Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge as configured using the Citi standard corporate builds and within various Citi internal platforms such as Citi Application Portal (CAP) and Citi Cloud Desktop Portal.
  • Test the functionality of web-based trainings on Citi provided mobile devices as may be needed and as configured in alignment with mobile device accessibility guidelines provided by Citi.
  • Be accountable for following documented test scripts when scripts are provided as well as for testing courses independent of test scripts when scripting is not applicable for covering scenarios where alignment with functionalities and design criteria are not amenable to scripting.
  • Be accountable for accurately and completely logging test results using Microsoft Office applications such MS Outlook, MS Excel, MS Word, OneNote, MS PowerPoint as well as the standard set of MS Windows tools and accessories such as Paint, Snipping Tool, Windows Media Player, etc.
  • Scheduling and meeting with Citi learning stakeholders who request consultative support.
  • Coordinating the testing of web-based training modules among multiple individuals and/or business groups, when necessary
  • Assisting in the coaching and development of junior level testers
  • Meeting with course development vendors and internal developers, as needed, to troubleshoot issues with course modules and to review Alpha/Beta testing scenarios when necessary or advantageous
  • Create testing plans and high-level testing scripts for manual testing of web-based trainings which cover regression testing, branching scenarios, boundary conditions, assessments, knowledge checks, content swap scenarios, and/or other relevant criteria
  • Maintain internal TLSS documentation related to Technical Testing
  • Use file comparison software and possibly other tools to validate regression testing and improve accuracy and turnaround times
  • Consolidate feedback from multiple testers and send final feedback to stakeholders.
  • Perform in-depth evaluation of basic operations and business processes, family procedures, and industry standards for business supported to identify and resolve complex problems
  • Influence decisions through advice and counsel as well as facilitate services to others in area
  • Serve as an analytical and/or procedural expert, representing a unit or team on cross function operational processes and project deliverables
  • Liaises with multiple teams across the Operations department
  • Coordinate and contribute to initiatives that support the goals of the Operations function and overall business
  • Assume informal and formal leadership role within team as well as coach and train new recruits
  • Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.
  • Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy.
  • Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.


Qualifications:

  • 5-8 years of relevant experience
  • Experience with Learning Management System is required
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Ability and experience working in a fast paced, high pressure environment
  • Proven organization and time management skills
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong customer service skills and well developed listening skills
  • Experience with a case management system, preferred
  • Experience supporting software and web-based applications, preferred
  • Experience in Instructional Design, Development, and/or Delivery, preferred


Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience in a computing, information systems, training/learning, or similar field is preferred.
