Collaborate and work with design engineers to design advanced metrology systems.
Work independently on data collection, analysis, and managing projects.
Perform hands-on work with hardware and gather the necessary data in the lab or the cleanroom.
Present the technical analysis in both verbal and written format and presentations to the team.
Work in specified timelines and milestones.
Willingness to take on responsibility and ability to quickly ramp from the existing documentation and on-job training.
Identify any gaps and propose solutions in the implementation.
Ability to modify tuning algorithms.
Use first principles in the design work when needed.
Minimum Qualifications
Education:
Currently enrolled in a Masters's or a Ph.D. degree with a minimum of 3.5 GPA
A Master's degree is preferred in electrical, robotics, control systems, mechanical engineering, data science or related field.
Experience in any one of the following areas: Robust control, System identification, Signal processing, Predictive Maintenance, modeling of mechanical systems.
Experience in the validation of hardware systems.
Knowledge of Matlab for data analysis and control development.
