Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience
Knowledge of one or more areas of infrastructure engineering such as hardware, networking terminologies, databases, storage engineering, deployment practices, integration, automation, scaling, resiliency, or performance optimization
Adept in specific infrastructure technologies and programming languages (e.g., Scripting, Python, etc.)
Deep technical knowledge across multiple domains
Deep knowledge of cloud infrastructure and multiple cloud technologies with the ability to operate in and migrate across public and private clouds
Knowledge of on-premises and remote Data Center technologies and operations
Strong experience in several OS and Hypervisor platforms.
Extensive experience with moving/deploying applications into the cloud.
Experience in deploying and using telemetry tools to improve visibility and service offerings
Ability to partner and collaboration with non-technical business partners.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Infrastructure performance and optimization knowledge
Extensive Knowledge of CI/CD pipeline integration
Working knowledge of several Hypervisors (Hyper-V, ESXi, KVM, VMWARE, OpenShift)
Experience with scripting languages, preferably Python, JavaScript, yaml, Json
Solid understanding of public cloud technologies, for AWS / Azure on Kubernetes, Terraform
Knowledge of AI/ML/LLM environments and testing
Experience with automation and orchestration platforms, such as Ansible, and exposure to managing budgets
