What You'll Do

Strategic Program Leadership

  • Design and execute a comprehensive global travel strategy aligned with PayPal's business priorities and financial objectives

  • Partner with Procurement leadership on source-to-pay modernization initiatives,identifyingopportunities for automation and process improvement

  • Develop data-driven policies that balance cost control, traveler satisfaction, and duty of care

  • Lead travel program budgeting and forecasting, managingannualspendwith targeted savings goals

Supplier & Vendor Management

  • Manage strategic relationships with Travel Management Company (TMC), airlines, hotels, car rental agencies, and other travel suppliers

  • Negotiate enterprise agreements and contracts to secureoptimalrates, service levels, and value-added benefits

  • Conduct regular business reviews with suppliers to ensure SLA compliance and continuous improvement

  • Evaluate and implement emerging travel technologies (NDC content, AI-powered booking tools, mobile solutions)

  • Oversee RFP processes for travel services, ensuring competitive bidding and vendor selection excellence

Technology & Systems Management

  • Serve as business owner for SAP Concur Travel, driving system optimization and user adoption

  • Lead implementation of new travel technology solutions, including evaluation of platforms likeSpotnana/Avenir

  • Partner with IT on single point of entry initiatives for seamless traveler experience

  • Develop automation strategies to reduce manual processing and improve operational efficiency

Data Analytics & Reporting

  • Develop comprehensive dashboards and reports providing visibility into travel spend, trends, and savings opportunities

  • Leverage analytics toidentifybooking patterns, policy compliance gaps, and cost reduction initiatives

  • Present quarterly business reviews to senior leadership with actionable insights and recommendations

  • Track KPIs including cost per trip, advance booking rates, preferred supplier adoption, traveler satisfaction, and savings achievement

  • Conduct benchmarking analysis against industry standards and peer companies

Traveler Experience & Duty of Care

  • Provide guidance on travel documents, visas, insurance, customs regulations, and health/safety requirements

Compliance & Policy Management

Required Experience

  • 7+ years of progressive experience managing corporate travel programs, preferably in Fortune 500 or global technology companies

  • 5+ years of vendor management and contract negotiation experience withdemonstratedcost savings achievement

  • Experience implementing andoptimizingtravel technology platforms (Concur or similar)

Le skills che stiamo cercando:

  • Conoscenza approfondita dei processi di controllo di gestione (e.g., planning e budgeting, variance analysis, managerial closing e riconcilation bridge, e fast closing)
  • Capacità di disegno di modelli di controllo aziendale (anche con trasformazione tecnologica e TOM)

Business is constantly evolving, and more than ever, staying at the forefront is all about identifying and adapting to change. As a Tax Manager, you'll see this first hand by being immersed in the evolving tax environment through preparing and auditing income tax provisions, assisting with income tax filings, consulting on planning opportunities, and coaching and developing staff on your engagement teams.

Your key responsibilities

You'll spend your time supporting client engagements by coordinating day-to-day interactions with clients, reviewing staff work product, driving delivery of services to meet deadlines, developing internal team members, and managing engagement economics. You'll continuously build on technical competence by keeping up to date on trends, developments and technical authorities and apply them to complex situations. Identifying and resolving tax technical issues and sharing insights to improve our efficiency will be a key component. In addition, you'll partner with other team members to help identify new opportunities to leverage to your clients across multiple service lines.

To qualify for the role you must have

  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a graduate degree in Tax or Law and approximately five years of related work experience
  • CPA certification or licensed attorney status
  • A background in tax compliance and accounting for income tax and a broad understanding of US income taxation
  • Experience managing budgets and projects
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Access and data mining tools
  • The ability to prioritize when working on multiple projects, and the confidence to engage and integrate directly into our clients' teams
  • Willingness to travel as needed, and working in a balanced hybrid environment

  • A proven record in a professional services environment
  • Experience in coaching and mentoring junior colleagues
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • The ability to adapt your work style to work with both internal and client team members

  • We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $90,300 to $165,400. The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $108,500 to $188,100. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options.

Requisitos

Requisitos imprescindibles:

  • Grado en ADE y/o Derecho.
  • Experiencia entre 3 y 5 años en el asesoramiento fiscal a empresas nacionales e internacionales.
  • Sólidos conocimientos en materia fiscal, tanto en tributación directa como indirecta.
  • N ivel alto de inglés.
  • Nivel alto de paquete Office
  • Nivel alto en bases de datos

Requisitos deseables

  • Máster en fiscalidad valorado muy positivamente.
  • Conocimiento de herramientas de diseño y preparación de presentaciones.
  • Se valorarán conocimiento/inquietud en nuevas tecnologías (e.g. IA, RPA, Blockchain, digitalización en general).

Supplier & Vendor Management

  • Manage strategic relationships with Travel Management Company (TMC), airlines, hotels, car rental agencies, and other travel suppliers

  • Negotiate enterprise agreements and contracts to secureoptimalrates, service levels, and value-added benefits

  • Conduct regular business reviews with suppliers to ensure SLA compliance and continuous improvement

  • Evaluate and implement emerging travel technologies (NDC content, AI-powered booking tools, mobile solutions)

  • Oversee RFP processes for travel services, ensuring competitive bidding and vendor selection excellence

Technology & Systems Management

  • Serve as business owner for SAP Concur Travel, driving system optimization and user adoption

  • Lead implementation of new travel technology solutions, including evaluation of platforms likeSpotnana/Avenir

  • Partner with IT on single point of entry initiatives for seamless traveler experience

  • Develop automation strategies to reduce manual processing and improve operational efficiency

Data Analytics & Reporting

  • Develop comprehensive dashboards and reports providing visibility into travel spend, trends, and savings opportunities

  • Leverage analytics toidentifybooking patterns, policy compliance gaps, and cost reduction initiatives

  • Present quarterly business reviews to senior leadership with actionable insights and recommendations

  • Track KPIs including cost per trip, advance booking rates, preferred supplier adoption, traveler satisfaction, and savings achievement

  • Conduct benchmarking analysis against industry standards and peer companies

Traveler Experience & Duty of Care

  • Provide guidance on travel documents, visas, insurance, customs regulations, and health/safety requirements

  • Create and deliver training programs to drive policy awareness and tool adoption

  • Maintain high traveler satisfaction scores through responsive support and continuous program improvements

Compliance & Policy Management

  • Ensure all travel activitiescomply withPayPal policies, SOX controls, and regulatory requirements

  • 7+ years of progressive experience managing corporate travel programs, preferably in Fortune 500 or global technology companies

  • 5+ years of vendor management and contract negotiation experience withdemonstratedcost savings achievement

Required Education & Certifications
